Oh when the SAINTS go marching in...
Yesterday went to the old police academy to watch the rugby semi-finals...
went there with Junye after taking my GP test.. and reached there arnd 425....
the match between ACJC and ACS(I) was in its final minutes.. and ACJC lost to ACS(I)..
i wonder how each other wld feel... esp. the ACS(I) boys... I mean.. if there was no IB programme.. they wld hv been playing for the team they just won against...
anyway... the main match for me was the RJ vs SA match...
of cuz... RJ was considered the hot favourites wih the SA team regarded as neither as experienced nor skillfil as their championship-winning team last yr...
Met Mei Shan, Jane, Nessa, GY, Abel, Ming Jiang, Carin and a lotta SA dudes at the place.. esp. damn glad to meet Clara who I've never seen for so long...
b4 the match started.. the RJ team were doing some funny funny actions... which looked lyk some African ritual while making funny funny noises that sounded lyk voodoo charms..
it was funny initially bt i realised it also cld boost thier own moral and intimidate their opponents.. really.. it is quite eerie to watch it..
the match started and the first half was dominated by RJ, who by the end of the first half was leading by 12-0...
many ppl regarded the SA team as finished... frankly i also tot it was over.. HOWEVER.. the SA team nv gave up.. they were a totally new team in the 2nd half.. and abt 10 or 15 mins b4 the full-time SA was leading by 19-12...
it was really adrenaline-rushing... the SA crowd was cheering SA on... while the RJ supporters lost a bit of a momentum.. bt.. RJ had great supporters.. they were really consistent thru the match.. and there were these grp of aunties who were screaming their lungs off... I suspect they are the RJ old gals.. it was hilarious to see those aunties jumping up & down.. bt I do admire their spirit!
back to the match... unfortunately.. SA was nt able to keep pushing forward.. Raffles substituted in a few fresh legs.. then they started to push SA into their own half.. SA's inexperience resulted in a successful RJ comeback.. with a result of 24-19 if I am correct...
It was very sad... SA really fought well... despite bein underdogs they really pushed the RJ team all the way... it was heartbreaking to see some ppl crying and to feel the solemn atmosphere of the SA camp... bt the SA camp cheered their fighters and I also joined them... reliving the not-so-long-ago memories of a saint.. I am really impressed by their never-say-die spirit.. and i really hope this SA team grab the title next yr... though I may nt be part of the skl for now.. ppl do say.. Once a SAINT, Always a SAINT!!

it sux to be sick....
well... i am knocked down by fever.... it sux big time...
when ppl mget sick they usually just go sleep in order to forget abt the pain..
for me... that did nt work cuz i cldn't fall asleep...
cuz it was damn f***-ing cold... i gt the rare chance to feel what it is lyk to freeze to death..
th medicine from the doc made me feel better.. bt still my temperature was lyk i swallowed the sun... (i.e I am hot!!... hey.. u who is reading this.. dun take it wrongly.. put that stone u were aiming at me down...)
I spent the whole day lying on my bed... slp, roll on the bed and etc..
it was so boring!!!
I rather wld hv gone skl.. at least i wld hv taken my gp and econs test today and dun hv to fix another date wth the teachers to retake it... laziness tkaes over me everyday...
hopefully today i wld feel better and fit enuf to go skl..
bt tmr gt 1 and a half hr math tutorial.. so goin to skl does nt feel so appealing..
anyway.. gtg rest... hope everyone stays healthy and nt sick lyk me haha!

It has been a long and tiring week...
T.G.I.F... really i do mean it.. haha... after 8 wks as a PJC student.. I find this wk as the most tiring...
Monday: 3 tests in one day!! GP, Econs & Maths!!
Tues: 5 stations.. bt nth much lah...
Wednesday: Debates! haha.. one of my sources of rejuvination...
Thurs: 2.4 km... with a disappointing 11 mins 47 secs.. and right after that.. maths tuition from 6 to 9!! (GG..)
Ok lah.. it may nt seem nth much.. bt i tink u guys wld've been shagged if u went thru this..
anyway.. today was quite an amusing day...
for the past few wks.. our assembly theme was sex and family!
this doctor guy came down and was telling us abt STDs and abortions..
vividly supported with gory pics of STD infected sex organs and a 9 wk old foetus which was aborted..
Gross? yup... bt wld it deprive a guy of his 'sexual appetite' and make him be a monk? highly unlikely...
After that.. the ladies and gentlemen were seperated to the Hall and LT3 repectively.. now this is the amusing part..
In a LT filled testosterone raging teens... our skl VP and two other teachers decided to hv a 'Let's talk about Sex!' session..
Mr. Yeo, PJ's VP, is a cool dude.. I mean how many VPs in other JCs wld actually tok abt such topics with their students?
During the Q&A session a lotta qns were asked.. let me just name a few which i recall..
1. When is the safe age to masturbate?
2. How do I refrain myself from watching porn?
3. Shld I continue if my partner is a virgin and is in pain? (WTH..;;;)
amusing qns to ask to a teacher eh? haha
anyway the teachers were answering them in a serious bt a casual manner...
bt there was this joker behind me then he was lyk making damn funny comments..
abt qn 1... the teacher was lyk.. u must learn how to control 'it' and nt let 'it' control you.. then suddenly this guy was saying.. 'with great powers come great responsibility...' it was damn funny!! lol.. and also when a guy was asking qn no. 2.. ppl were lyk silent for a while.. then suddenly this guy was saying with the malay accent, 'off the computer lah!'... mite nt sound funny when i write.. bt u shld've been there.. and see a 1000 over guys dying of luaghter..
hmm.. that's all i cld recall.. anyway after the lessons today had debate training.. nv realised it cld be very fun to debate haha..
Tmr is glorious saturday!! playing soccer in the morn i suppose! can't wait!! lol

new blogskin & finally! a new post...
woah... it has been quite a long time since i posted sth on a blog...
well.. i admit i was lazy... :( and the blog looked quite sian... so I changed the blogskin!!
thanks to Joan once again for helping me with it.. haha
anyway.. i just realised time flies so fast... it feels lyk slacking in SA was sth happened yesterday.. bt now its alr MAY!! and for PJC.. nxt wk is the final wk of skl... so man.. time does fly fast..
today was just another skl day... assmebly.. 2 and a half hr break.. econs lecture, gp lesson and china Studies essay straight in a row... wat a timetable... bt lucky its nt subjects lyk chem, phy or bio.. i wld hv died by now if i did those.. (read: anti-science)
I pity those who take science... they have numerous spas to wry abt.. then i'll be down there slacking while they're so stressed out and reading their notes abt numbers and unseen molecules.... well they chose to do science... bt well.. it looks so stressful compared to us arts student who only have PW as the A-level subject to wry abt..

Tmr is NAPFA test for 2.4! damn hope its nt too sunny.. i hate sunny days when it comes to running.. bt well.. who wldn't?
