went to NTU for debates for today and came back an hr ago... i am freaking tired and brain dead now.. it was a gd experience as a whole, we lost 2 and won 1..
vs. NTU B motion: THW legalise holocaust denials (opp) we lost to NTU, bt well somewat expected. the coach did say they are a gd team and that tells a lot. first time facing a uni team, bt it was nt bad as i tot it wld be. tho the margin cld be quite big, bt i did feel being skinned alive.
vs. SRJC D motion: THW boycott the olympics (prop) squirreled the motion and came out with a sneaky play. i expected SR to think that we wld be talking abt human rite issues in TIbet or Sudan wadsover. so i decided to come out with a plot of boycotting the olympics cuz of environmental and health issues cuz it wld harm atheletes, undermine IOC and harm ppl in china. they were stunned haha... well bt it was their j1s so nt much satisfaction.
vs. Temasek Poly C motion: THW abolish death penalty for drug traffikers. (prop) haii.. it was a gd case set up bt i missed out on rlly minute details.. and did nt help by the fact that the J1 guy in our team gt overwhelmed by the event and froze. Josiah came up with his heroics (as usual) bt nt enuf to save the day. lost by 2 pts. which was a real close margin. feel quite wasted..
bt anw i was glad that this proved to be a gd time for the J2s (me and josiah) to warm up for the final competition this mid april and the J1s to get exposure n wat debate comps are lyk. yolanda and yubin came down, and i thank them for coming :D well.. i am rlly now just typing without thinking and need to go slp cuz the final prelim rnd is tmr morn.. haii.. the day was worth it bt still bitter on missing out FOr and my bro's concert. :/

been quite a short week maybe cuz there was no skl on monday. anw unlyk promos where they were busy with moderations, they gave back the results for common tests quite swiftly. which i shld say is better. the results so far haven been as I hoped it wld be.. well.. actually many other of my classmates did nt do that well so i guess i shld nt complain too much, bt i just feel quite disappointed for nt doin as well as i shld and cld hv done. the results so far are.. econs- D (this was bad.. :( ) maths- B (the paper was easy, bt nontheless i was happy :D) CSE- B (2 marks away from an A...) History- nth so far... GP- E (this was a shoker..) well... some may say it is quite ok, bt well i am nt too glad abt it. especially GP, i have no idea cuz whether i rlly suck or is it just that the teacher was quite strict abt the marking. well maybe i rlly did nt do well after all.. bt from a B to E.. that is way too drastic. bt nvm, it is just common test. tmr i wld be goin to NTU to participate in their debate competition. i am terrified rite now cuz it is an open category, meaning that we cld be facing university teams. and that is definitely nt nice at all. especially the scenario of us facing our coach's team (NUS A) is horrifying at its maximum. well.. i am nt too concerned abt winning, i just hope we are nt skinned alive there.. and hopefully we'll enjoy it :D i heard buffet is provided for lunch! :D:D:D man.. bt i wld miss on a lotta things by goin debates tmr.. soccer in the morn (tho it was cancelled cuz daniel is sick, get well soon dude!) fun-o-rama in the afternoon (sry nessa.. ^^;;;) and my bro's concert in the evening (haii.. this is lyk.. rlly frustrating). as such is the case i hope that tmr wld be a gd day for debates! no it better be!

H1 history and H2 China Studies.. 2 more papers.. nt bad, i would live after all haha.. the papers were so far ok.. GP was ok, econs was wonderful (tho results mite prove otherwise) and maths was.. u noe wat i wld say haha i dun feel lyk studying now since 2 H2 subjects are down.. bt cannot be lyk that rite? hwaiting! bt now i am damn sian cuz my last paper ends on monday.. bt that is nt the point. the thing is.. my CSE paper is on monday bt the day before there is the clash of the titans in the EPL! Chelsea vs Arsenal and ManU vs Liverpool ahh! and i cannot go nicole's place to watch cuz i hv a paper the nxt day! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am fucking frustrated... :(

well no point complaining rite? knew this was coming along.. bt it sucks to be spending march hols studying! the jc system is horrible! exams after holidays! they are masochists! arghh... doesn't help by the fact that some skls hv alr ended their common test (read: ACJC, CJ and VJ) and a certain skl is nt even hving common tests! (read: NJ) well.. damn... now i feel fucking useless cuz there is nth that can be done.. WTF.. anw, other than the studying part the past few days hv been great actually.. last saturday's dinner and talk cock session with the E5 guys, junye, jia yi, gab, ron and GY.. talking with them makes u neglect time and u just go on and on. great company, with a teh ping (did i spell correctly?) at a nearby kopitiam, we talk abt anth under the sun. sounds uncle-like eh? haha then sunday.. ahhh.. it was wonderful! bbq with og mates and some classmates! i rlly rlly loved that day. the bbq was nt rlly well done cuz i had no experience actually starting one, bt nvrtheless it was the ppl that rlly kicked ass. when playing soccer, it rlly felt lyk goin back to the PAE days, which i can say one of the best moments in my 19 yr life. i cannot wait to go out with them once again! classmates were also great company, bt i suppose they were a bit 'daunted' by the hyper-ness of the og gals.. LL+Nessa, wat do u expect? so they were hanging out at one corner separately, bt fortunately ltr they just blended in quite fine and i was happy :D yesterday was also great :D met the PAE classmates for dinner. did nt get to spend that much time cuz gt the stupid common tests! ahh.. must meet again after the bloody exams. well.. come to think of it, a lotta catching up was done with a lotta ppl. and i just feel grateful that i vh so many great ppl arnd me :D thx for all the gifts u gave me ppl! i appreciate it.. well tho the E5 guys' gift was nt so practical for the time being.. bt nontheless it is appreciated.

well it is my birthday today! i thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday :D well nth rlly special today i suppose it is cuz tmr we hv gp paper so nt rlly in the mood to celebrate with extreme joy. bt the ppl wishing me happy b'day was more than enuf! jia yi came down to pjc today, it was nice of him to do so, and well he gt me a gift.. from junye, GY and yudhi also.. a condom... ㅡ_ㅡ;;; well it is the thot that counts and i am sure it wld come handy one day.. lol anw during GP lessons my arms were 'attacked' by my fellow classmates who were more than eager to wish me a happy birthday. drawings and writing all over my arms.. made me look lyk some gang leader with helluva tatoos.. i was damn pai seh on the way home cuz ppl were staring at my arms when i was goin home... damn damn damn pai seh..

haha the title sound so greand rite? bt well who gives a damn? well ppl as most (hopefully) of u noe.. i wld be 19 yrs old from tmr onwards! 19 yr old is... shit.. u dun get any extra rights (unlyk, 16, 18 and 21 yrs old) and u are at ur last yr of teenhood. after another yr, whether i lyk it or nt i am no longer a teen bt a young adult, ppl wld expect me to be more mature and thoughtful. sounds so old rite? bt well anw i dun rlly mind, actually it can be better. at least i wun be at places where ppl wld give me dumb rules an dun bother to explain the rationale behind it. sounds familiar? if u guessed skl then u are correct. i seriously cannot stand skl admin, discipline com or wadeva shit, u name it! just cuz we are bunch of impressionable and 'immature' teens they think we are void of the capability to think for ourselves. so they come out with riduculous or needless rules and dun even bother to explain why they chose to do so. even the government itself has to explain to the ppl, whether it is the truth or nt is another issue, abt the rationale behind its actions, what makes the skl think that they can just come out with sth out of the blue and throw it at our faces? i seriously am pissed with the lack of respect the skl has for us. "now u are jc students, we expect u to be more mature.", "we would treat u lyk young adults".. YA RIGHT! u expect us to behave lyk mature ppl and u treat us lyk imbeciles. we do not come from a secluded world lyk north korea u noe? u cannot just be the 'dear leader' and order us wat to do without a reason. wait... even mr Kim gives his reasons when doin sth, propaganda and lies they are, bt anw they DO gice a reason! wat am i so incensed abt? it is this dumb rule the skl came out with nt allowing polo t-shirts other than wed and fri. okie, i am nt affected at all as i dun wear the skl polo t-shirt. bt the reason i am unhappy is that the skl did nt even made an attempt to explain the rationale. they just send up a teacher tells us we are nt allowed to do this and then just apply the rule. WTF?! it's nt even sth lyk.. 'this rule will take place starting from...' to at least give ppl time to adjust to it. their attitude is just.. we tell u so, so follow! screw them... then they dare preach us abt democracy and cooperation between students and skl, bloody hypocrites. giving a dumb reason is one thing nt giving at all is totally nt respecting us at all. i am nt expecting them to kiss my shoe or sth, all i want is that they at least tell us why the fuckng hell they implement rules, in my point of view, unnecessary. can't they have the sensitivity or respect to do that? well damn.. nvm.. as if the skl gives damn... they are lyk that anw. well.. wat a post to end of my 18th yr of life... lol.. bt well it felt gd :D b'day tmr and jia yi is coming down to celebrate my bday nice of that guy haha well.. too bad gt common test that dampens the mood, bt well as if the skl cares and importantly as if i care? lol.. well.. farewell 18 and howdy 19...
