well it seems like i haven blogged for quite a while huh?
haha well nt as if i had nth to blog abt, bt i just guess i was pure lazy to blog abt anth..
bt here i am today, finally entering a blog post.. :D
A lvls is nt far away and i cannot erase this feeling that i am nt ready for it at all. well the nt ready here obviously means that i am nt ready to get my desired grades (straight As or 3A 1B at least)nt that i am nt ready to sit for it at all, heck, if it did nt matter i can take the papers this very moment haha
maybe cuz the subjects that i am taking are mostly humanities subjects, which u do nt rlly hv an objective gauge to ensure to tell u where u are. so sometimes i wld feel lyk i am ready to go take on the paper bt the nxt moment i wld be lyk WTF i dunno anth at all! so ya go figure..
and it does nt help that my only science subject, mathematics, which is supposedly the easiest to score and easisest to gauge is my worst subject. stats is nt too bad, bt pure maths horrifies me. whenever i look at 'draw a graph' qn, or an 'integrate this' qn with a lot of trigos roots squares or any other mathematical term u can add on to it, i wld tell myself, i swear that defending lionel messi wld be easier than this HAHA (well for non-soccer ppl,lionel messi is one of the best players on earth if nt the best, youtube wld hv a stack of videos of him waltzing pass world class defenders and make them look lyk kids who is playing football for the first time) well me and my maths teacher had a 'clear the air' session, nt that we hate each other or anth. he just asked why i nvr go look for him to ask qns. so i was.. 'dude (i didn't rlly said that), everytime i go ask u a qn, u wld ask me back another qn, and the thing is, if i knew the answer for ur qn i wld nt even be looking for u in the first place!', well he told me it was his way to teach that way, well bt anyway since that thing is cleraed, guess i can work on my maths more effectively.. and i better if nt.. i blank out for a while when i tink of the prospect of sucking for my maths in A's.
yesterday singapore made history by beating korea in the semi finals of the women team table tennis. it was quite amusing to be the only korean in the middle of the library filled with singaporeans and watch them squeal or pump their fists in the air whenever singapore earned a point. i just sat their with a poker face with an occassional smirk across my face whenever korea earned a point. bt well it was quite obvious that singapore was a better team technically and i rlly congratulate them for making history. 48 yrs is a LONG wait.. the only thing i can think of koreans waiting for sth for so long is perhaps reunification and an official apology from japan regarding the occupation issue (bastards..)
well speaking of japan, korea just whooped japan's ass in olympics baseball by 5-3, great job! victory tastes much sweeter if it is over ur history manipulating, island snatching and shameless neighbours.. well their government to be precise, quite unfair to lump the whole country under it, bt oh well.. hv to admit that japan is nt rlly a country in my gd bks.
7 gold, 9 silver and 4 bronze.. 4th overall so far, KOREA FTW!
ahh well it was a long post.. haha.. hope it appeases those who hv been waiting for a blogpost haha (well if there was any haha). was doin time assignment for econs and man! i overshot a 45 min essay by abt 7~8 minutes. nt cool.. rlly need to write faster.. it wld such a big waste if i cannot score despite knwowing the content. 29 more days to prelims dy, a bit more! hwaiting!
on a lighter note, EPL starts again! manu ftw!
and koreans in the EPL ftw! kim do hyeon of west bromwich albion made his debut agnst arsenal and did well, and seol ki hyeon of fulham scored his first goal of the season! hope to see more from them! :D
