well friends!
most of u shall noe i was free from last sat till wednesday. a long-awaited, deserved and incredibly short 5D4N break for your korean friend :D
and damn how miserable i feel to see it flash by at the speed of light. :/
but seriously.. a dosage of freedom did wonders to my spirits. AND u singaporean guys shld appreciate the fact they get to go home every weekend! cuz i wld get to go home every 12 wks from now on! :/
well.. anw 5D4N break was GOOD! :D
one thing gd abt nt being able to go back home for a long time is.. that u actually appreciate it much more than u actually did. time with the family was rlly great. not that we did anth rlly special or wat. it is just that seeing ur loved ones rlly makes u realise how blessed one is as a person. doing simple things such as having meals together or watching movies together can nvr be so great :D
and i got to see people from the island i miss so horribly. nessa and jess came over from singapore and i catched up with them :) was so glad to see them. a dosage of singapore-style english (trust me, i hv been using only korean for the past 5mths) and TONS of great memories that is brought from the little island was truly sth i needed to overcome all the tough time army gave me. i just lament that i only gt to spend a day with them :/ well but always better than nth rite? :D
but seeing them makes me miss so many things...
I miss... all the awesome ass-kicking time with OG7 (need i say more?)
I miss... the studying, meals and talks i had with nessa :)
I miss... the slacking time with my wonderful 'band of brothers' (ronald,gy and jia yi)
I miss... the tough but enjoyable a-lvls period with 07A05 (miss u ppl!)
I miss... the soccer sessions with BVSS ppl and Daniel
I miss... hokkien mee and chicken rice :/ (delicacies that comes cheap)
I miss... fish and chips also! (not singaporean tho..)
I miss... BBQs done at ppl's places! (daryl's and sarina's mostly :) )
I miss... cursing maths with lydia (we both got Cs! haha damn ㅡ_ㅡㅗ)
I miss... daydreaming in the bus with my Iriver blasting music in my ears
I miss... island cremery :D
I miss... talk cock sessions over the phone (4E5 FTW haha)
I miss... talk cock sessions anywhere in the island (from kopitiams to staircases)
I miss... the slightly rainy days where singapore's green wld be at it's most beautiful moment
I miss... the relaxing atmosphere on a sunday morning when i walk to church
I miss... chalets after major exams
I miss... steamboats with CSE ppl at Nicholas' place (drinks accompanied hehe :D )
I miss... reading about soccer from the New Paper (korean newspapers dun hv such analysis)
I miss... so many things that i cannot just write it all out. and simply i just miss singapore so bad.. :/
rlly hope i can go back soon! bt well there's army for me for now! :(
